Born and raised in New Zealand, Johanna Parkin now works from her studio in North London. Johanna’s photographic passion is for still-life and stylised food photography, bringing ordinary objects to life and capturing them from a unique perspective. With her crafted and meticulous approach to lighting and composition she loves to create beautiful, captivating and quirky images with delicate precision.
Johanna has been recognized in a number of industry awards, most recently winning a 2011 Association of Photographers’ Award. She has enjoyed a successful commercial career shooting for advertising and editorial clients including Nestle, Volkswagen, Epson, Barclaycard, Ferrero Rocher, Sisley, Boots, The Guardian and The Times.
